We are seeking an Office Manager to provide administrative, HR, people, event, and analysis support across our growing team.

Responsibilities

Office Manager: Create and manage a welcoming and productive virtual and physical office space for our teams, including welcoming guests and managing inbound calls to the company.

Events: Play a lead role in coordinating venues, food, and invitation management for our internal and external Boston-area events and beyond.

Administrative: Support internal and external scheduling across the team and our clients, as well as other administrative support.

People: Help organize internal virtual and in-person events and offsites, bringing creativity and enthusiasm to our team culture. Support our recruiting efforts through resume review, job posting, and new employee onboarding as needed.

Analyst: Support data entry, strategic desk research on impact areas (e.g., oceans, indigenous peoples) and other relevant topics.

Special Projects: Support the Board and Executive Team on special projects, as needed to meet the goals of a high growth team.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience
  • Extremely strong attention to detail and management of multiple complex projects on different timelines
  • Extraordinary people skills and emotional intelligence to help build a high functioning team
  • Strong customer service skills to provide a welcoming touch point for stakeholders engaging with CapShift
  • Proactive, collaborative, thoughtful, self-motivated, and able to effectively communicate across multiple business units and stakeholders
  • Eager to work on many projects in a high-growth, flexible startup environment in which employees are expected to take on multiple responsibilities
  • Strong writing, Excel, and PowerPoint skills, and comfort with being trained to use CRM technology tools as core to the role
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM a bonus (but not required)
  • Preference for demonstrated commitment to our mission of social and environmental change
  • Flexibility to work in person in West Newton, MA part-time at least 3 days a week, while being available 5 days a week to respond to urgent requests.
