We are looking for a self-driven professional to support all aspects of our technology product development and online customer experience – think of it as a non-traditional path to Product Manager with a strong orientation towards social impact. Ideally, you are comfortable working across technology needs, business goals, and client support.

Responsibilities

Product Management

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop requirements for the integration of new and innovative technology enhancements

  • Collaborate with our external development team on a day-to-day basis to design, develop and test new product features

  • Manage the intake and upload process of data from various internal and external sources

  • Make data-driven recommendations to improve the user experience and integrity of our systems

  • Perform regular system maintenance to assess ongoing performance and identify opportunities for improvement

Analytics and Reporting

  • Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to improve its understanding of clients and prospects through robust data analytics across multiple channels and segments

  • Recommend, implement, and monitor ways to promote and measure platform engagement

  • Support internal and client reporting needs, and take on (or create) other data and systems-focused projects as the need arises

Technology Operations Support

  • Technical Customer Service – support CapShift clients with exceptional customer service when they have technical questions or need product demonstrations; respond to user feedback

  • Internal Technology Management – support the evolving IT needs of our team by identifying opportunities for improvement and participating in security review needs and testing

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years of work experience in a similar role

  • Prior project or product management experience; familiarity with JIRA and/or an agile development process is a plus

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM or similar relational database; experience with Salesforce Communities and Marketing Cloud is desired, but not required

  • Intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills, with experience normalizing and merging large data sets

  • A strong critical thinker and problem-solver who can think big picture while staying organized and close to the details

  • Some prior experience in a customer-facing role

  • Fit with working in a high growth, flexible startup environment in which employees are expected to take on multiple responsibilities and leadership roles

  • Proactive, thoughtful, self-motivated, and able to effectively communicate across multiple business units and stakeholders
